Norwegian Skating Festival is a long distance skating race on the Mjøsa ice, starting from the Skibladner Pier in Moelv. You can compete in all classes from 8-80 years over the distances 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 km.

Lillehammer Troll Ski Marathon is being arranged April 14th 2012. It is the the 17th time. It is a cooperation between four local ski-clubs: these are Ringebu-Fåvang Skiklubb, Øyer-Tretten IF, Søre Ål IL and Mesnali Skilag.
